Good, but not great. Forgettable, but not regrettable. I had a pretty good veggie lasagna with pretty good garlic bread and pretty good iced tea. The others at my table had a similar reaction, though I think I was more pleased with my dish than they were with theirs. Service was slow considering how few people were in the restaurant A little pricey for lunch, but for a decent, casual dinner it's alright.

Little Italy's underwent a management change recently in it shows. The place now is a very nice local resturant. I am a big fan of their pastas and pizza. their volcano brownie desert is great. The atmphsoere is the classic small itallian decoration but cozy for a date.
The place is also a quick walk to the park or waterfront to complete a romantic night out.

We tried this because the restaurant we planned to visit was closed this day of the week. We've been to the other branch of this off of Mill Plain on the east side of town.
My food wasn't great. It was okay, but it just wasn't anything spectacular. The garlic bread was kinda boring, not super. We had italian sodas (not cream sodas) and they were pretty sweet like they didn't measure very well maybe. The service was okay but not great. It was really cold in the restaurant, and the tables were close enough that you could hear what the other people were saying.
We had a table with a map on it, and that was interesting to see an italian map.

Okay folks, I do not like to go around "trash talking", but this particular experience was so bad it was funny. The only thing that isn't funny about this whole deal was that I had to pay money for this experience, but if it saves someone else in the meantime I am ok with it. So my date and I decided to go to this establishment on a whim on Valentine's Day. We walked into the very cheezily (can that be a word?) decorated restaurant and were actually seated promptly. The server stopped by our table for a drink order and I asked a few questions about entrees. She made a few recommendations and about 20 minutes later returned with our "salads". Our salads consisted of iceberg lettuce, a pepperoncini and about a cup of bad balsamic vinegar. We could barely eat our salads and the server cleared our plates without any question. Our entrees came out about a half hour later (the restaurant was near empty at this time) and they both were meals that looked like a child had thrown together and tasted much the same. The garlic bread was hard as a rock, my wine glass sat empty the rest of the night and our server never checked on us again. We finally requested our bill and had to go up to the counter to cash out. I was finally able to pay after another server was done counting all of her tips in public. The experience sucked so bad that all we could was laugh. I only recommend going to Little Italy in the future if you need to be reminded of how much eating at home can be a treat sometimes.

My first visit to the restaurant was a good experience. The tortellini in creamy marinera sauce was very good and the desert brownie under ice cream was delicious. However, the other dishes I have tried since were not as great and seating in the room father back lacks some of the charm of the front area. They do make good vegatarian lasagna with lots of veggies inside and menu is pretty expansive where you can find lots of traditional pasta dishes. Its not bad overall if you are really craving some Italian food for dinner.
